I worked with a uniform manufacturer client who was looking for someone to create digital sketches for various sets of uniforms to be produced. During the period of 2013-14, I worked on several distinct projects across multiple industries, including uniforms for restaurants, hotels, hospitals, cafes, and workshops.

For high-end hospitality clients, the focus was on designing sharp, functional silhouettes for restaurant and hotel staff that balanced elegance with the mobility required in fast-paced service environments.

In separate projects catering to the maintenance and workshop sectors, the designs prioritized pure utility. These required durable concepts featuring reinforced stitching and strategically placed pockets, ensuring safety and practicality without losing aesthetic appeal.

Throughout these varying commissions, I developed numerous conceptual variations for the manufacturer. Ranging from base line drawings to full-color renders, these explorations allowed different end-clients to visualize the impact of distinct colorways—from high-visibility orange to subdued olive tones—before committing to production.

Another notable project was a comprehensive uniform set designed for the James Hotel in Chandigarh. This required creating distinct, cohesive looks for various staff across the entire property, including the front desk, hotel managers, waiters, restaurant managers, and servers. The concepts introduced subtle, brand-aligned palettes while ensuring comfort and ease of movement for extended shifts across all roles.
